A Family That Feuds Together…Raises $1 Million for Research

On Wednesday, October 28, Project ALS hosted its 17th annual “Tomorrow is Tonight” event at Cipriani in NY, netting over $1 million for research. Donors and celebrity supporters participated in a couple of rousing rounds of Family Feud, Caroline Rhea hosted, and teams were led by the likes of Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor, Judy Gold, Julianna Margulies, Michael Ian Black, Gaby Hoffmann, Stacey Griffith, and Katie Couric. Research chair Tom Jessell (HHMI/Columbia University) talked about recent breakthroughs including a new therapeutic strategy to improve protein metabolism in ALS.
